All About me...Professionally!
I have been practicing as a Paediatric OT since 2005 and have extensive training in multiple areas that involve paediatric Occupational Therapy.

I have guided my practice to focus on feeding and eating issues, sensory processing/modulation, praxis and motor planning, auditory therapy programs, and fine and visual motor skills.  In January 2013, I received my certification to administer the SIPT (Sensory Integration and Praxis Test) and am trained in Ayres SI.

I utilize Ayre's Sensory Integration (SI) treatment principles, when applicable, but this is not the only approach of therapy I use.  I use a family-centred, holistic approach, to identify the needs of the child and the family in order to promote that optimal growth & development of that child.  I love working with children and seeing progress and impact for the child and the family!

All About me...Personally!
I grew up in Saskatchewan, as many people that live in Calgary did!

I have the most amazing pup...well, she is over 10, so not really a puppy anymore; however, she still thinks and knows she is a princess (a well-trained princess that is!).  I have no children, but I have 4 amazing nieces and 2 nephews AND get connected to the amazing families and kiddos that I get to work with everyday.

As I continue to strive for a better work/life balance, I keep myself busy with staying active (hiking, golf, gym, yoga, spin, and road cycling).
I love getting my hands dirty (building decks, stuff for my sensory room, trying to keep my flowers alive & growing vegetables).

My ultimate "passion place" is when I am "under the sea" scuba diving.   I LOVE to travel- new places, new people, new food, new experiences!!!
My love for the beach and the ocean has taken me to numerous warm waters.  I'm privileged to visit Cayman Islands regularly to visit family and get my fill of diving in.  I am blessed to have been on multiple extended travelling expeditions to Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Scotland, Netherlands, France, Germany, and Belgium.
